General Notes:

• We recommend Macintosh users work with Graphic Converter. Unless you are taking photometric measurements from your images, you will not need the FITS format of your image. You can readily convert your image into GIF format using Graphic Converter. We are still looking for information about minimum system software requirements. NIH is another option.
• For web page makers, we recommend a software package called GifBuilder; it allows additional image processing tools, e.g., transparent backgrounds.
