The Moon Challenges can be solved with simple observations of the Moon. For example, the size of the Moon can be determined using a lunar eclipse image. With this information, the distance to the Moon can be computed by measuring the size of the Moon in the evening sky. Other Moon Challenges examine the surface features of the Moon using images taken with MicroObservatory OnLine Telescopes.
